The Darsena is the ancient port of Milan: unlike what you might think, the Lombard capital was built on the water and was a river city, in the same way as Amsterdam and Manhattan.
On the occasion of Expo 2015, the entire area was redeveloped, returning to being a meeting point for Milanese and tourists, especially on the weekend.
